Girona is located in the northeastern region of Catalonia in Spain, next to the Onyar River, and its climate is hot and dry in summer and allows tourists the opportunity to wander on its charming beaches where resorts and tourist restaurants are available, as well as small fishing villages. Famous for its medieval architecture and monuments lined with the Owenar River, this city has Roman and Gothic ruins from narrow streets, ancient churches, bridges, ramparts, and watchtowers with sweeping views of the city. The city also includes natural and recreational attractions, including gardens, parks, and various festivals throughout the year, the most important of which is the Flower Festival, which is accompanied by music and lights, and the Girona Acapella music festival. You can join bicycle tours to get a closer look at the charm of this ancient city.
