Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, is located off the mainland on an island in the Persian Gulf. Abu Dhabi includes the seat of the Presidency of the State, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, and the embassies of foreign countries. This city is famous for its modern towers and huge shopping centers, most notably Yas Mall, which has about 450 shops. The city of Abu Dhabi is distinguished by its possession of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which is the fourth largest mosque in the world. It is characterized by white marble domes, huge Persian carpets, crystal chandeliers, surrounded by large water basins and can accommodate 40,000 worshipers. Abu Dhabi is one of the most famous tourist and entertainment countries, as it includes the largest entertainment city, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, located on Yas Island. It also includes fine and varied beaches, the most important of which is the Corniche Beach, which extends for about 8 kilometers on the Arabian Gulf and is considered one of the safe beaches for swimming and diving.
