The United Arab Emirates is a country located in Western Asia at the southeastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula on the Persian Gulf, bordered by Oman to the east and Saudi Arabia to the south and west, and it shares maritime borders with Qatar to the west and Iran to the north. The Emirates is located in the eastern region of the Arabian Peninsula, and is divided into 7 emirates: Fujairah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Dubai and Ras al-Khaimah. The Emirates is one of the richest Arab countries in the world and one of the most important tourist destinations for the wealthy and individuals in general.
