Cambridge, a city on the River Cam in eastern England, is home to the prestigious Cambridge University, which dates back to 1209. The university's colleges include King's, famous for its towering Gothic choir and chapel, as well as Trinity, founded by Henry VIII and St John, with its Great Gate of the Century sixteen. In the university's museums there are exhibits on archeology, anthropology, polar exploration, history of science and zoology.
