Information about Grand Arcade
The Grand Arcade is a large shopping mall on St Andrew's Street in Cambridge, England. It is based on the John Lewis store, (formerly Robert Sayle) located to the southeast of the site which reopened after a major rebuild on November 8, 2007 before the rest of the development which opened on March 27, 2008. The current shopping center is connected to the Lion Yard store, which was The car park was demolished and replaced as part of the master plan, and was renamed on local signs. The Grand Arcade Cycle Park is the UK's first dedicated bike park connected to a shopping mall. It is set up to provide more than 500 parking spaces and bike shops. Arguably, this was necessary due to the removal of bicycle parking on the street in central Cambridge. Here you will find many shops, cafes and restaurants.
