Bursa is Turkey's fourth most populous city, with a population of 1.2 million, and it is one of the most important Turkish industrial cities. The city is located specifically between Istanbul and Ankara, and this city was the capital of the Ottoman Empire in the period between 1326 and 1365. It was called by many Names During the Ottoman period, it was called “God’s Gift”, but at present it is called “Green Bursa” because of the large number of public gardens and parks located in and around it, as well as the vast forests in it. The tombs of the first Ottoman sultans are spread in this city, and there are hundreds of wonderful Ottoman monuments. Among the monuments there are the tomb of Osman I, the Green Mosque, the Ulu Jameh Mosque, the Iznik Museum, and many others. The city is also characterized by its mild climate at most times of the year.
