The Abdal Bridge, which has preserved its original structure between the bridges of Bursa, was built over the Nilufer River in 1669 AD. The bridge was characterized by a stone design that includes supporting arches, and huge bases. These bases made of cut stones, whose width ranges between 2.60 and 3.60 meters, consist of triangular prismatic shields that protrude according to the direction of water flow, and support the walls in the opposite direction. Today, the bridge attracts attention with its beauty and subtlety.
