Sultan Orhan, the son of Osman I, the second Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, lived between the years 1281-1362 AD, and during his life he bought the Stock Exchange and its surroundings from the Byzantines, established government institutions and printed regional Ottoman money. Upon his death, a mausoleum was built on the mosaic floor of the monastery of Saint Elie, with a distinctive design, with three windows on each side of the mausoleum, which was built in the form of a square, with interior walls painted white and there are simple decorations in the form of arches on the windows.
