The Museum of Immigration History in Bursa, located at the eastern entrance to the exhibition area of the Merinos Ataturk Cultural Convention Center, was opened on November 07, 2014. It explains what migrations brought to Bursa and the situation prevailing in Bursa today. The museum also depicts the influx of immigrants to Turkey from everywhere, It tells its visitors the stories of the people who left their homes and their countries in search of security and stability and to escape the war 700 years ago. When you visit this museum, you will be able to get acquainted with the traditional costumes of the cultures who immigrated to Turkey, and you will also be able to see the bags that the immigrants carried as they fled their country and many other subtle and distinctive details.
