Merinos Factory, a spinning and weaving factory opened by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, has become one of the biggest investments not only in Bursa but also in Turkey. The Merinos power station, which was established in Bursa in 1938 as a textile factory, was inspired by the Merinos power transformer and turned into a museum, in which the system, which was built using German technology for that period, was put in place, which meets the needs of the city, as it is equipped with sufficient capacity to meet the electricity needs of Bursa when necessary.
