While most visitors to the Mazovia Voivodeship in central Poland rarely look any further than the nation's capital Warsaw, there is certainly plenty to see in the surrounding countryside, including the impressive Gothic castle ruins in Cechanov and a beautiful old medieval center in Płoc, which also abounds.
