It was opened by Arnold Zivman in 1913, by Prime Minister Szygment Krasinski. In a short time, the theater was ranked first in Poland. This happened thanks to the high level it offers, the organization of innovative theatrical works, as well as the collection of the most distinguished actors, directors and designers. The theater also hosts regular series such as Hair Salon, Polish Children's Theatre, as well as plays and festivals. In addition to the large building, there are changing rooms, which have undergone a comprehensive renovation in stages, allowing to preserve the beautiful interior design of the theater.
