Founded on March 11, 1928, the Warsaw Zoo is located in the heart of the capital and covers an area of 40 hectares. It houses more than 3,500 animals from different habitats, as well as nearly 10,000 fish and countless invertebrates representing more than 500 species, including That's about 40 endangered species.
