One of the most beautiful streets in Warsaw. It was rebuilt after the war, and the street is lined with trees, green squares, and magnificent palaces along its length, including the Presidential Palace, the Bristol Hotel and the headquarters of the government administration. There are also many interesting restaurants, bars and cafes. On normal weekdays it is one of the liveliest streets in Warsaw. Where there are two of the largest institutions of higher education: the University of Warsaw and the Academy of Fine Arts.
