The sacred mountain is a symbol of cultural tourism in Veliko Tarnovo, located on top of three hills beside the Yantra River; Tsarevets, Sveta Gora, and Trapenica, this place was a cultural and spiritual site of great importance in the past, and was home to a number of churches, monasteries and literary schools. It offers unique landscapes and views of the city, which attracts large numbers of visitors.
