The Laugardal Slag is the largest swimming pool in Reykjavik, and there are good walking or jogging areas nearby, which during winter can be used for snow skiing. A short distance from the swimming pool is the Botanical Garden as well as the Reykjavik Garden and Zoo. There is a lift for people using wheelchairs to access the pool, and the hot tub and sauna are also wheelchair accessible.
