A botanical garden has existed in the city since 1961 and was opened on the 175th anniversary of the founding of Reykjavik. It is an amazing garden in which you will see plants and flowers from all regions of the world, and despite the coldness of Iceland, the plants grow in it naturally because experts have tried in every possible way to genetically modify these plants to live in these conditions. There are also waterfalls, small bridges, and many types of wonderful birds in this park.
