Bursa Castle is a historical fortress located within the boundaries of the current Osmangazi municipality, and there are 5 gates in total, which are the Siege Gate, Hot Springs Gate, Dungeon Gate, Benarbashi Gate and Yer Gate. The walls that have been trapped and destroyed many times have been rebuilt or taken care of many times. The castle was home to many Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman states after the 14th century, and in particular became a popular visiting point for well-known travelers such as Evliya Çelebi and Katip Çelebi.
