Maali Üftade was a famous Sufi sheikh, writer and poet from Bursa, both founder and sheikh in order of religious affiliation, and in his honor this mosque and mausoleum were built, and this mausoleum is built on a square floor plan, and is covered with a sloping wooden roof. Today, the mausoleum and the mosque are among the most important landmarks of Bursa.
