Kuwait City is the capital of the State of Kuwait, located on the coast of the Arabian Gulf in the southern part of Kuwait Bay. Kuwait City is considered the most prominent tourist destination in the Arabian Gulf because it has many historical, natural and architectural attractions, including; Kuwait Towers, which is a distinctive sign of this city, Al Hamra Tower, which is one of the most important commercial towers in the Gulf region, Liberation Tower, which is the fifth tallest communication tower in the world. Among its most famous landmarks is the Kuwait National Museum, which displays to visitors the ancient history of Kuwait, as well as an art collection of the royal family. Kuwait City includes Failaka Island, which covers an area of 24 km and is a recreational, cultural, and historical destination, as it contains important historical landmarks dating back to the Bronze Age. It also provides tourists with the opportunity to engage in water activities such as roaming in boats and swimming.
