Information about Sief Palace
Seif Palace is the palace of government in Kuwait, built in 1904 during the reign of Sheikh Mubarak Al-Kabeer. The palace is characterized by an Islamic architectural character due to the use of Islamic arches and decorations, in addition to touches of the ancient Kuwaiti heritage, which made it a landmark worthy of a visit. Simple raw materials of clay, sea stone, wood and minerals were used in its construction. The palace is now the official residence of the Emir, the Crown Prince and the Council of Ministers.
