Bergamo is an Italian city in the Lombardy region, located about 40 kilometers from Milan. It consists of an ancient walled center known as Città Alta, which means "high city". It is surrounded by huge defense systems belonging to the city of Venice, and it has been classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 2017, and the city also includes a number of historical buildings. Which still preserves its details despite the passage of time, in addition to a number of historical museums and archaeological churches, and is considered the second most visited city in Lombardy after Milan.
