The Partician Monument is a monument donated by the famous Pergamian sculptor Giacomo Manzù in memory of his parents and all the Italian resistance heroes; It is a bronze statue depicting a semi-naked anti-fascist fighter who was tortured to death by fascists. A girl who is supposed to be his girlfriend or wife stands next to him and looks at him sadly because she could not help him. The statue is located in Matteotti Square and was erected in 1977.
