The funicular connects the lower city with the upper city in Bergamo. The train station was built in 1887 and was previously used by 3 cars to transport residents between the two ends of the city. The transportation method has been renewed over the years until it was fully automated in 2008. The train is about 240 meters, and at a height of up to 85 meters, which enables you to see many of the city's landmarks while moving quickly between its outskirts.
