The Museum of the Academy of Carrara is a museum and art gallery in Bergamo. It was established in about 1780 AD by Giacomo Carrara. Later, the Academy of Fine Arts was added to the Museum in 1794. Carrara left all his artistic possessions through a will he wrote before his death to the Museum. The building was renovated in 1810 to become in a neoclassical style, and today the museum includes many art galleries that reflect the historical heritage of the region, in addition to some rare pieces and exhibits.
