The South Lebanon Governorate forms a coastal tongue extending from Sidon, the capital of the south and the governorate’s center in the north to Naqoura in the south. The governorate includes three districts: Sidon-Zahrani and Tire on the coast, in addition to Jezzine District, which forms a group of inland towns spread on mountain slopes reaching an altitude of more than 1,000 meters. From the surface of the sea, it constitutes an important center. The southern Lebanon region contains many tourist attractions. In the south of the city of Al-Tair, we find pristine coastal beaches with white sand, and there is the possibility of diving across the strip extending over the historic city of Al-Tair and Sidon.
