The southern town of Jezzine is characterized by a strategic location rich in various natural features, which made it an important tourist attraction, as there are many waterfalls and surrounded by forests on all sides. The red brick, and its most famous landmark is the Jezzine Falls, which is considered the fifth highest waterfall in the world. It even earned the town the nickname "Bride of the Waterfall".
