Macedonia is the largest region in Greece and is located in its northern part, linking the east and west of the country and embracing a long historical and cultural heritage. The terrain varies throughout the vast territory of the region, as there are mountain ranges with majestic views, charming beaches, ancient ancient cities, and ruins spread throughout Macedonia, which previously formed the largest part of the Greek Kingdom of Macedonia. Visitors to the various cities of the region feel in awe of the place and the greatness of the ancient Greek civilization, especially since the ruins left by Alexander the Great are widely spread in the region and they can discover them closely when visiting tourist monuments or participating in walking trails in the same places that the army of Alexander the Great once passed through.
