The center area is one of the most important areas in the country despite its distance from the coast, and its importance stems from its historical and architectural status, as many civilizations passed through the cities of this region and left important archaeological monuments that influenced and continue to influence the culture of the local population. Jerusalem is considered the most important city in this region, as it is one of the internationally known cities despite its small size. The importance of Jerusalem is not limited to its historical importance, but also to its religious importance, as it is sacred to the three monotheistic religions. Among the other cities in the region are the city of Ramla and the city of Lod, which are cities dotted with ancient buildings and wonderful antique monuments. In addition to all of this, the areas are dotted with many modern shopping centers where you can shop from the most famous international brands. There are also many small stores supervised by locals. These stores sell souvenirs and handicrafts, including wonderful works of olive wood.
