Luxor's western bank was a royal burial site in 2100 BC, but the pharaohs of the New Kingdom (1550-1069 BC) chose this secluded valley (Valley of the Kings) dominated by Jebel Qurna. The valley was called the Great Tomb of Millions of Years Pharaohs, or the Place of Truth, and includes 63 impressive royal tombs. This valley is full of walls with charming inscriptions, and for the treasures that were discovered inside the tombs, they are displayed inside the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. It is a wonderful place that is very suitable to learn about the ancient Egyptian and Pharaonic civilization, do not hesitate and visit it with your family and friends and enjoy spending an unforgettable and enjoyable time.
