The Sanja Underground Museum - located in the majestic Acre Citadel - tells the story of Acre's mandatory prison in the period between 1920-1948 AD, where its internal galleries house many collectibles ranging from photographs, films, life-size statues and other exhibits that depict the experiences of Prisoners during the British Mandate period, from the point of view of the prisoners of the Haganah, Irgun, and Lehi organizations.
