Information about Knights' Halls
The Knights’ Halls or as it is called “Hospitalar Castle” is a monastic place for the Hospitaller groups whose mission was to preserve the safety of pilgrims in Acre during the Crusades period. The building consists of a central courtyard, which is an open courtyard with an area of 1200 square meters. The north is covered with cylindrical arches, and there is another hall called the Sugar Pots Hall, in which many ceramic pots that were used in the manufacture of sugar, and a number of pottery jars, clay pots, and others were discovered. There is a section known as the pillared hall or the dining room, which is a hall built of sharpened cross arches, and it is decorated with carvings carved out of the rock.
