Information about Tour Fromage
An archaeological tower located to the north of the historic Pretoria Gate in the archaeological area of the Roman theater. The tower is surrounded by a group of ancient buildings dating back to the Middle Ages. The tower was built in the twelfth century on the eastern side of the city walls. The tower is owned mainly by a family Formag (Du Fromage o Casei), turned into a noblewoman of the Fodan family in the fifteenth century after Jeannette Fromage, the last heiress of the Casey family, married Claude Fodin. The tower has recently become a prominent tourist attraction in the city, which includes many temporary exhibitions that are held from time to time in the place.
