Silifke Tash Bridge is located in the middle of the Silifke district in Mersin. It was built between 1977 and 1978, by the Governor of Cilicia. It is a stone bridge spanning the Goksu River. It maintained its original shape until the end of the 19th century, and was repaired and modified several times. The bridge, consisting of 5 arches, was originally composed of 7 separate sections that extend across the width of the river. Today, the bridge is one of the city's newest bridges due to the repairs it has undergone, and it is a vital corridor of the city.
