The Roman Soldier Monument is a huge stone structure built in order to commemorate the great sacrifice made by the Romans for a better future for their country, and this structure consists of a curved wall that gradually increases in height and symbolizes the struggle and sacrifice of soldiers. and farmers, and the war was represented by engraving pictures of soldiers, weapons, cannons and tanks. Created at the initiative of the Committee for Culture and Arts of the Maramures Region, and presented to the public in August 195, this monument is the work of the sculptor Andrei Ostap.
