The Provincial Museum of Ethnography and Folklore is located at the foot of Florilor Hill in the municipality of Baia Mare, and reflects the professions, handicrafts, folk costumes and religious symbols of the ancient Maramures region. Technical of the four ethnographic regions of Maramures: Shewar, Lapus, Kodru and Old Maramuresh. The museum also displays traditional houses from the district, a beautiful wooden church, and a section dedicated to waterworks.
