Peace Square is the first advertising front of Guanajuato. It gives the first impression of what you will see during your visit to the rest of the city. It is also the most vibrant square in this old city, surrounded by many interesting old buildings, and for many years it was the seat of civil and ecclesiastical authorities in Guanajuato, as well as luxury family residences.
