The Odeon is a small theater with a capacity of 500 spectators, located in Amman. Archaeologists have speculated that the Odeon was most likely enclosed by a temporary wooden roof that protected the public from the weather. The theater was distinguished by an architectural design that took into account sound systems in order to reach the largest number of spectators with advanced engineering techniques. Today, the theater is one of the most important archaeological sites in the country.
