The Hashemite Square in the city of Amman is a distinctive archaeological and historical landmark of the city, which extends in the heart of the city and forms a connection point between all its distinctive features. The square was restored in 2014 and was originally named after the Hashemites, the Jordanian royal family. The square extends over an area of 50,000 square metres, and is bordered by the Roman Theater, which is one of the most famous monuments in Oman.
