A unique museum in San Gimango, the museum displays more than a hundred instruments of torture that were used in the medieval period, including the double fork, the cradle of Judas, the rat bowl, the copper bull, the iron mask, the shuttle, and the wheel. This museum also includes many pictures and drawings illustrating the methods of torture using these tools in the Inquisition during the sixteenth, seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in Italy, in addition to a collection of skeletons, skulls and bones.
