Established in 1962, the Hristo Tsokev Art Gallery is named after Gabroian Hristo Tsokev, the first professionally educated Bulgarian painter, who graduated from the Moscow Art School. From 3200 works of art varied between paintings, drawings, sculptures, iconographic examples and applied arts, the main activity of the exhibition is the preservation and display of transferred cultural valuables through the organization of permanent and temporary exhibitions, and the permanent exhibition includes works by famous painters such as Vladimir Dimitrov, Stoyan Fenev Stoyan Venev, Nikola Tanev, Ivan Markvicha, David Paretz, Dechko Uzunov, and others.
