Established in 1992 to showcase the work of late Norwegian artist Kaare Espolin Johnson as well as her father's, this memorial exhibition includes drawings, photographs, a childhood piano, abstract paintings and more. The museum also displays separate works by local artists. The museum's exterior was designed by architect Gisle Jakhelln, who drew inspiration from traditional Icelandic architecture because he had Icelandic ancestors.
