A museum that tells about the events of the Second World War and their impact on the Lofoten archipelago in particular, it is a relatively recent museum that was opened in 1996 after 10 years of collecting exhibits from all over the archipelago. Among the exhibits, there are large collections of military uniforms, including uniforms of the most important Norwegian war leaders, a file of letters between a German commander and an army officer, lanterns, compasses, Nazi flags, boats, and many more.
