The rotating dome is located to the southeast of the Kayseri Castle, and is considered one of the oldest Seljuk buildings in the city, dating back to 1276, and it is decorated with a double-headed eagle, a leopard, a winged lion with a human head and the Tree of Life, a tomb belonging to Sultan Jahan Shah, called It is referred to as the "Rotating Dome" because of its twelve-sided surface, geometric shapes, and stones very close to each other, and legend also indicates that the name comes from the fact that the tomb rotates once every two years.
