Yahmore Castle is one of the most important archaeological monuments in the city of Tartus. It is an archaeological fortress in the village of Yahmour. It was established during the Frankish occupation of the Syrian coast in the twelfth century AD as a small Crusader stronghold in northwestern Syria belonging to the province of Tripoli.
