Information about Buraq Wall
Al-Buraq Wall represents the southwestern part of the wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque. It is about 50 meters long and about 20 meters high. It is part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and is considered an Islamic property. The Zionists call it the "Wailing Wall", claiming that it is the remaining part of the destroyed structure. According to Islamic tradition, this is the wall to which the Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace) tied his winged creature Buraq before his ascension to heaven on his journey from Mecca to Jerusalem (the Isra' and Mi'raj).
