A prominent chapel within the boundaries of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the city of Jerusalem, and the dome was built in the year 690 AD. The Dome of the Rock is characterized by its octagonal structure and four doors. The golden dome appears as a prominent and important landmark that attracts attention. From the inside, the chapel includes the honorable rock, which is a natural rock with a height of about two meters, including the ascent of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, to the sky on the night of the Isra and Mi’raj. Inside the Dome of the Rock is a small cave called the Cave of the Spirits. The dome is surrounded by the wide courtyards that lead to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, where visitors gather to pray and sit, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
