Al-Sharaf Neighborhood is located in the city of Jerusalem. It is an old residential area in Jerusalem, next to Al-Maghariba Alley. It was once owned by an Arab family called the Sharaf family. At the time of the British Mandate, the Jews rented a large area of it and owned part of it. In 1948, it was demolished and most of the Jews left, and it remained unchanged until 1967. The Israelis occupied Jerusalem and claimed possession of it. They expelled 3,000 of its Palestinian residents and called it the "Jewish Quarter."
