Bozcaada Castle is located on the northeastern tip of the island, and is characterized by its unknown history, as it is likely that it was built before the fourteenth century, but there is no document available to show who built it or when it was built, perhaps it was built by the Phoenicians, Romans, or Venetians. Fatih Sultan Mehmet completely restored it due to its important location during the Ottoman period, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism restored it several times between 1965 and 1970, and finally in 1996. The castle consists of two parts: external and internal, and there is a trench of 250 meters in length and 10 in width. meters, south of the castle.
