One of the main elements of the Brest memorial is the harpoon obelisk, a hundred meters long in the form of a four-sided spear of a Russian rifle, symbolizing the victory over the enemy, and the eternal glory of the heroic defenders. This spear was designed in a distinctive architectural way that is resistant to all weather changes. The external structure is made of stainless steel, and it was divided into ten sections, each 10 meters long, and then assembled to produce this distinctive architectural masterpiece.
